My lift will not raise high enough on my 4430. I have adjusted the two out linkages to get the optioum height out of them, but it still will not lift all the way up. I can grab both of the two lower links and raise them up higher buy hand but the tractor stops raining it at a certian height. I do not see anything wrong with any of the links I feel like there is adjustment somewhere I'm just not sure. I have also adjusted the depth gade inside the cab and nothing different happens. Any helpful ideas?

Sounds like your draft control. I can't remember if it needs to be all the way up or down. On D anyway I think down. I could go out and look but it's out in the 28 degree shed and I'm in here were it is warm.

There is a linkage rod on the right hand side,up inder the sheet metal. It is threaded with a nut above and below the arm that it hooks to. That has to be shortened. That's the Readers Digest version anyway. It goes on for half a page in the I@T manual. If that doesn't do it,then there is a plug in the trans housing that has to come out and you have to turn the control arm extension screw..... .....

Try it in the D position. If it raises all the way up then there is an adjustment in the rearend that needsd changed. If the nD setting doesn't help it, it is a operating linkage rod that needs adjusted. After so many years the cab mounting biscuits get squashed down and that throws off the linkage.

This is a shot in the dark, but if it's cable operated between the lever and the rockshaft valve itself, one end of the cable could have slipped out of its clamp or it could need adjustment due to cable stretching or wear at the attachment points of the cable....

I know the same happened on my 4010 before, the rockshaft end of the cable had slid about a half inch from where it was supposed to be and I couldn't get full lift from the 3ph until I put it back where it started and tightened it down.
