I had the kids out today teaching the fundamentals of gun safety with a paintball gun. After my 5 year old son had his chance to diplay his prowess against the Buckeye tree (15 yards), I decided to blast the last few off myself. There was a squirrel about 100 yards away on a log. I aimed, fired, and although paintball guns are notoriously inaccurate at distance, I popped him right in the posterior. I was astounded. The squirrel jumped, spun and eventually went back to his business like nothing had happened.

Luckily the kids did not see this and were spared seeing their fathers idiocy.

However, my wife did.

Momma ain't happy.

And there is one hot pink squirrel in the world.

Gonna hafta answer to the Creator for that one,

Aaron

If yore luck runs like mine does, you gave the hottest "squirrel neglige" in town to some girl squirrel. She will now go forth and produce a thousand babies, all of them will move into yore attic.

They have already stocked my exhaust manifold with acorns.... Maybe they were hitting me back first.

Thats funny. You probably find your car exhaust packed full of acorns tomorrow as revenge.

careful with those guns. Friend of mine just lost her eye in paintball battle. Was taking mask off & someone fired & hit her in the eye. Nothing a very up-to-date hospital could do.

That is a great story Aaron! That squirrell will probably be the laughing stock of Squirrelltown when all his friends and neighbors see him.
Maby you should lay low for a while just in case he trys to get even! :-)
