Looks like $650 per tire in Iowa.

Hmmmm. I think it's 8 years since I bought a set of 18.4R34 23 degree's, and they were 800 then, but there was a 50 buck promo on them, so it was 750..... I'd be surprised if they were under a grand (each)today.
I would also price out a set of Michelin AgriBib's. Buy the cheaper of the two. You won't go wrong with either one....
In my experience, radials have paid in longer service life, and the improved pulling power and ride are just a bonus.
I've also got a set of BFG's which look like the agribib's, but I'm not so confident of the rubber compounds in them. Dunno if they'll hold up over time.
Hell will freeze before I buy a set of Titan's...

It's funny how most of the comments about Titan being a good tire come from people who only buy American made tires..... A person is pretty limited in their choices now if the want US only in tires.
I've nothing against buying American made, or Canadian (I am Canadian...), but I don't see any reason to do so when it costs me a fortune to do so. Titan isn't cheap to buy either, so I don't see much incentive there....

I agree about them Titans. I bought a ford tractor in 94 that had them on it I believe those were the softest tires I ever had. I bought a replacement at local tire dealor for the front and drove it about 7 miles to a fencing job and a big knot poped up on it. I took it back to dealor and they would not do anything about it. Said I voided the warranty with my Allied Loader on it. It was a 8 ply tire. Needless to say I have not bought anymore at that store and have not bought another Titan. Is there no other American tires anymore?

A couple of years ago I gave $800 for a set of 23 degree firestones mounted and tubes do not know if they went up or not.

Where are you getting them from? A junk yard?

I don't know what they go fro other than rather expensive, but I can give you numbers for 2 dealers up here near Green Bay that sell and service Firestone Ag tires-

Interstate Tire (920) 7664210
Pat's tire (920 8499703
