Yesterday they were talking about driving combines. That made me think of my dads uncle who moved his ranch form Ne to Colorado. He had a sale and moved his cows and what equipment from Merna Ne. to Riffle Colorada. His 2 tractors were an A JD and M Farmall. He sold the A and drove the M. This happened in the 50's so really dont know how he went. I counted up on the map taking the interstate. That seemed the most direct way through the mountains. I would of thought theyd have a road in the same area. It figured out to be 514 miles! I have no idea if he needed new tires or not!

Drove a John Deere 4320 From Topeka, Kansas to Washington DC in the late 70's. 1600 miles in 16 days.

I have driven a MM UB about 1,000 miles on tractor rides over the last 5 years. The rear tires were new when we started and they still only show slight wear. I increase air pressure 2-4 pounds on the rear. Average 6-8 miles per gallon of fuel.(LPG).We have alot of fun on them.
