Look at this tractor that someone has on eBay. The frames and double hoods look odd.

I don't see what all the fuss is about, If it was closer to me I would go and take a look at her and maybe even bid on it, beef that frame up a little more and drop a mid mounted grading blade on it and make her work a little.

for a grand, i dont think it is a bad buy. sell the small block and trans for say 800, use the cash to pick up the right motor, put er back to where she should be, have half a hood left over.

Cool, someone had the imagination to dream and the motivation to build that tractor and I have seen worse. Perhaps he used the car transmission to gear it down some.

Although these aren't my tractors, they are certainly a good example of how it should be done.

Wow. That's ugly.

Neighbor & car repair fellows did something like that to an F-20 or H or M. I forget.

However, their's looks good. It only needed a foot or so extended fram to fit the motor & auto tranny in behind the reg tranny.

You almost don't notice it at first.

They use it, utility tractor for blading the yard & the like.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO PUT A V8 IN A FARMALL, BUILD AN ADAPTER PLATE TO USE THE ORIGINAL TRANNY, THIS IS REDICULOUS

Without the additional transmission to slow the input shaft the tractor would travel way too fast. would probably do 70MPH without too much trouble.
