well, look at the good side of things. At least you know why it won't run. and you don't have to agonize about whether you can save the piston I use a program called irfanview to do my pictures with. I think I shrink them down to about 1280 by 840 pixels. try HCl acid it works pretty good sometimes on aluminum.

What do you do to repair that motor?Can it be rebored to a much larger cylinder size? Will you replace the whole thing and, if so, how will you find another in good shape that fits the tractor?
