Another pruner view in reply to CBBC, 03-12-2007 12:12:34

Here is another view of the pruner, and my two year old Clara - don't worry, the machine is off and I don't let her ride with me.

How do I make the picture larger?

I built the pruner last year, and made some improvments on the steering and speed control this winter. I can prune about an acre / hour overlapping the swath by half.

As far as making the picture bigger-you size it when you download it to the web. On my photobucket account, the one I pick is marked as a 'message board' size. Greg

Well, it depends. We try to aim for an average of 200 BBLS /acre. A bbl is about 100 lbs, so about 20000 lbs. Some fields will do 350-400 some only 125.

BC's average was abou 175 last year.
