If I rember corectly, they tend to have a tranny seal problem. Either the PTO or the main input seal if I rember. If they start to leak it is very hard to get them to stop..something wobbles just a hair and works on the seal. That being said, I have an Uncle who has had one for years with zero problems. He runs a 200 head dairy and a feed mill operation, plus does trucking in his free time. Uses it for almost every small chore there is. It does have the 300/350 tractor with the 340 engine. Something about firring the two together didn"t lone up just right causing the leak. Again, the leaking problem has only been related to me, although by several people, but the only one I know of runs and works great. Mike

From what I"ve read they are fairly rare, and were a sort of transition tractor between the 350 and 340 utility tractors. Basically it"s got the 340 engine in a 350 chassis. I think they made them for only part of a year in 1957. I know the 340"s engine has 135 ci with 32 belt HP cause I have a 340U, and they are the same engine. Great looking tractor, and sounds like a good find!

The 330 was built in '57 & '58 with 32 drawbar/35 pto horsepower. A total of 4261 were built. Does share the 300/350 chassis and the 340 engine. Is shorter & lighter than the 300/350 though. We're restoring one now.
