I just purchased a new 6603 John Deere tractor. After 10 hours of operation, the transmission began leaking hydralic fluid..The dealer said the seal was put in wrong...My question is this. Is this a common occurance in this tractor? I have heard the factory in Mexico has install the seals backward and each new tractor in the U.S. has to be disassembled and a new seal installed..
Please, someone tell me, this is not true. In the 10 hours of operation, I really like this tractor.

Don't know. My cousin bought a new 5525 though and had a grinding in the dif lock soon after. It was OK as long as he tied it up with a piece of baler twine. Quality huh?
