When I was growing up several (many) decades ago it seemed the old folks had a lot of character. Seems older folks are more politically correct these days. Do others of you see this or is my memory just fooling me.

The flag burnners of the 60's and 70's are now fighting crab grass in the burbs. Strangle how life has these little changes. The real wake up is they are now elected offficials and creating laws in DC. Everything cycles grain, livestock, and land. Just don't over load and loan your keyyter on the wrong swing side of land prices. Everything has a pay day. Three dollar fuel is a bench mark for a couple of years and then 4 dollars and so on.

I had to leave the farm for school to learn the nasty words.

Old Geezers used to talk about the depression or the WPA and storming the beaches of Normandy or bayonetting North Koreans after running out of ammo. Now old Geezers talk about having to change the channel by hand or having to call home to mommy and daddy for beer money when they went to college.

God help us when the AARP is packed with baby boomers.

My sentiments exactly.I just finished a 11 Hr. Day behind the Wheel and in and out of the Truck about 60 times and I don't think I'm a "Geezer". I will be 70 years in a couple of Months and see no reason to stop.

Most of us just mellow out. Then I see a young kid doing something stupid or playing music to loud, and I think to myself, what is this world coming to. A lot of old gezzers now sit in front of a pc passing the time away. Yep,they've changed.
