Hi Gang;
Of all the TV shows we get from the USA, the original CSI Crime Scene Investigation is the BEST on our screens. Running a close 2nd has to be Law & Order Special Victims Unit - oh boy, I am in deep lust with the lady who plays Olivia - Mariska Hargitay.
Any thoughts from you guys?
Be seeing you,
David

I saw Fred Sanford ask Lamont what was wrong with Gunsmoke. He said you never seen marshall Dillon looking up and bothering God, he just pulled his 45 and didn't have to bother God. I like ole Fred don't make them like that anymore.

i like the discovery channel myth busters and mike rowe on dirty jobs. mike was an opera singer
at one time in his life. rfd has gone down hill in that they don't seem to get lots of new tractor shows sometimes i remember seeing the same show from 4 or 5 years ago. rfd needs to get more smoke and noise tractor
pulls and for more than 1/2 an hour. something else i like to see is sprint cars on a dirt track. i understand that programming is making lots of changes so i don't if i will be able to watch them.

I like the original Law & Order and L&O: Criminal Intent. L&A SVU has gone to the dogs the last two or three seasons.

Never could get into CSI, they take themselves way to seriously while so much of their show has nothing to do with reality.

I wish RFD would make more new tractor shows and I wouldnt care what they done with CSI. They have got so unrealistic I have quit watching them. I am more into PBS or the history and discovery channels type of shows.

I dont know, but I am about sick of all them horse shows. Very few of them have anything to do with farming, they cater to the suburbs. Rural Heritage is pretty good but who in thier right mind pays a couple hundred bucks to listen to a Australian tell you how to train a horse. Not people in Australia evidentlly. He had to come to the US where people are foolish enough to pay. No matter how many shows you watch on tv it will not make you a great horse man. Some folks have it and some dont. Please MORE TRACTORS OF ANY KIND.

I've got no stomach for the horses either, but they knew that they had to be diverse to make RFD work, that meant 4 things in one, farm news, rural lifestyles, equine and country music. I know the schedule and just watch what I like. If we have to put up with the crap to get what we want in order to make the channel comercially viable,oh well, what ever it takes to keep it on the air.

I can't really stand to watch that show or ones like it. Way too much BS. I have been around a few detectives, investigators and coroners and most of them are pretty average if not dull personalities and they never do the dramatic SWAT style arrests. I do like the shows on Court TV and A&E that are based on, or reenactments of real cases. Much more interesting IHMO. I just can't watch shows that don't do justice to the way things really happen.

The show I try and catch is "Criminal Minds".
It`s a little more of a mind twister than the CSI`s. Besides I get a kick out of the fact that Mandi Patinkin was also in my wifes favorite childhood movie,"The Princess Bride" years ago.

We used to like CSI, till came CSI Miami, CSI New York. Now the show is so ridiculous if I watch I just point out the " no way is it like that" and my wife hits me. As false as it is though, they do have accurate enough stuff that any criminal or sicko, can get a good idea what they can do to reduce the chance of them getting caught. I do like Law and Order though, all 3 of them. TVLand has the best programming right now, along with Hallmark channel , and RFDTV.

I really think they need to drop CSI Miami, it's plots are getting worse every week and lately it seems like they are adding alot of "filler" with things like different camera angles to make a half hour show an hour long.

About the only show of that type I can stomach is Bones on Fox. Then only because that is one of the few that the wife insists on watching. Trouble is it's on the same time as Georgia Farm Monitor and Americas Heartland,so I have to watch them Sunday nite or Thursday noon.

Just in case you didn't know - Mariska Hargity is the daughter of actress Jayne Mansfield and her husband, Mickey Hargity, a bodybuilder, both from the '50s.
