last night on the news there was an article about people stealing trailers and other things and putting them on Craig's List here in Oregon.

Here any trailer under 1500 lbs does not need to be licensed or registered or have lights and brakes. I know silly law but an old one. Well I only wanted to let people know that they might not get what they want if they buy something from Oregon. Especially trailers that don't have a registration number. Walt

Hope the law catches them and puts them where they belong.

In this case, the law caught them, however in Oregon we seem to have a catch and release policy. May work for fish, bit not a good idea for criminals. We have a lot of thefts of metal and things like trailers. It is largely the result of a rampant meth epidemic. These tweakers have a lot of energy and time to figure out how/where to get money for their next fix. The local government and do gooders keep talking about meth adiction as an illness. It may be, but the sick ones need to be taken off the streets - preferably permanently.
