I have a 2002 6.6 diesel and I love it. I burn 20% (B20) biodiesel when the price it right and I love it. Engine runs good and quiet. Change the fuel filter after burning a full tank though. The bio will clean out the fuel system and it can clog the filter. At about 75,000 miles or so keep an eye out for leaking injectors. chevy has had a problem with the injectors leaking diesel into the crankcase. If you smell diesel, pull the dipstick and check the level and smell. Chevy has extended the warranty to 200,000 miles on the injectors on the 02's & 03's and will replace them ALL with updated injectors.

Mine is a 2500 so 2 less tires on the ground but you should get 15 I would say. I get 17 -18 in mine and more if I drive it a little slower. You will get a LOT better mileage if you keep it under 2000 rpm's. You will burn a lot of fuel for a few extra MPH.

If this is your first diesel you most likely will like it. Last summer I pulled a 20 ft flatbed from Colorado to North Carolina with a jd d and jd a (10,000 lbs) with my wife's 6.0 Excursion and 8 people on board and I had plenty of power and fuel economy too

I use it in all of my diesels at a 5% blend.

Might go to 10% as the price is even with diesel at this time.

Yes premixed at the bulk plant and delivered to my barrel on the farm.

95% diesel and 5% biodiesel.

Been using it for 4 years now with no ill effects.

You can mix your own at the pump if they have a pump with each separately.
