First off what make and model tractor, Ford(Dearborn) made a rear mount manure loader for the smaller Ford And Ferguson tractors and it would work to pile snow but slow, could also have a blade (homemade) put on for more clearing action

Are you talking about a Gnuse bucket made in Arlington Nebraska. I used one once at a friends place to move snow, never used one before and it didn't work that bad. Don't know if I'd ever by one, but some guys love them. Depending on your tractor the lift height is like 3-4 feet. The one I used was on a 4020 JD with 34 inch rubber and went up at least 4 feet. But remember your tractor wasn't designed for pushing backwards and I've seen transmission filters filled with filings that the guy used a little hard with the gnuse bucket. They also make one on a forklift mast that would be ackward. chris

We have a Gnsue 6 foot rear loader on a 3 cyl. Ford 2000. The unit also has a Ford front snowplow. It is a good unit for snow plowing. We plow the straight road sections with the front blade and the rear loader stacks when backing up in clearing the turn arounds and also stacks the bank the county plow leaves at the end of the driveways. The county plows with a road grader with a wing blade so those banks are high.
