remember going with my parents around 1965 then as a 5yr. old the show was long seats hard dont even think the place had a/c only performer i can recall was string bean. like to be able to see that same show now.wife and i try to go on wedding ann. always at the ryman the only place far as im concerned to see it

I would love to have done that. Your in for a shock as I'm only 22. I listen to blugrass and country which is pretty much unheard of for a younger guy like myself. Mike.

And to think when I was a teenager back in the early 70's it was great entertainment to sneak in the back door of the Ryman auditorium on Saturday night and see the show. I suppose that would be tame for todays kids.

I would have loved to have got that chance... heck would have loved to have done that at the opry house even let alone the rhymon--- oh and they are back using it in the winters now... I dont know why really but its good they do :)
