I just received an e-mail from old high school classmate that has a video of a musical instrument that was put together by a musical prof and an Ag engineer from the University of Iowa made from 97% JD parts that came from John Deere Industrial and Irrigation Division of Bancroft Iowa. It took over 13000 hours to make the video. The instrument is on display at Matthew Gerhard Hall at the University after that is complete they are going to donate it to the Smithsonian. If you would like to see it just reply and I will forward it to you because I don't know how to post it here.CT

I've had that sent to me at least a dozen times since Christmas. Gotta say, it is neat. It must be true, it's on the internet, right?

Dunno, guess I should have checked it out. I'm Mr N when it comes to this. I'll go see. Bummer, it is kinda interesting and come to think of it I didn't see anything that remotely resembled any JD farm equipment. I'll check it out. Thanks, CT

Thanks Howard for bringing that to my attention. I got tripped up by the moment. You gotta admit it was a pretty ingenious design. Now I will have some crow followed by humble pie dessert. :-(. Now I can have some fun with my old classmate (tee hee). Thanks, CT

Yeah, the internet is great, but it is full of that kind of junk...

Not sure why so many people want to start those sort of stories...
