Hi;
SLEEPER = square wooden base on railway line, I think you call them ties.
COUNTY = A make of equel wheel sized 4wd tractor based on Fordson & Ford skid units. They also made a range of crawlers based on Fordsons 1945 to 1956. Also made 4wd conversion on large Ford Transit van, still available today. Original County went bust in 1980's (same time as Roadless unequel sized 4wds also based on Fordson & Ford)
DIGGER = term for excavator covers all makes & sizes wheeled, tracked, backhoe, 360 etc
MOLEBOARD or MOULDBOARD = plow (plough) body. In my old are we called them SHELL BOARD.
SCUFFLE = cultivator
REVERSIBLE PLOUGH = turn overtype, bodies on top & bottom of beam to turn all furrows one way.
BEAST = term for beef cattle
TUP = male sheep (ram)
and finally:-
WIFE - GIRL FRIEND = someone who stops men enjoying their hobbies !!! LoL
Cheers David

Olives are the small brass "washers" on the end of a pipe (fuel) which squash down to form a seal when the nut is tightened.

I hear and have heard some of the referances you make for various items ie; exhaust hood= muffler. 'Wats rely a pita is dcfering ths new web lng'.
(Whats really a pain in the a** is decifering this new web language).
I replied to an e-mail from Bad Brad last night and just said "huh?"
