hey larry....what did you give me? i feel like crap! i was fine til i talked to you on here and i got your email...could this be some kind of computer virus? does your g-daughter play on the computer?

i haven't done a darn thing in two days. i know i'm always telling you about tricks i use to get out of doing anything around here, but this is one i didn't plan out myself. funny thing tho...this is the ONLY way i've ever got out of doing things around here that "you know who" doesn't get on me about. in fact...she almost being..."sympthetic"!

If I knew what it was, I would patent it and send it to a few select politicians - not to hurt them, but just to make them feel like doing nothing (which would be an improvement in most cases). I still haven"t accomplished anything on the 20 this whole week. I felt good enough today to have worked on it a little, but I decided to give myself one more day so that I would actually enjoy working on it.

Yep, I know about the sympathy - I have also received some well-deserved sympathy, along with advice to go to the doctor. I keep telling my wife that in my 63 years, I have only occupied a hospital bed for 5 hours. That was when I was 10 years old and they checked me in at 10:00 AM and checked me out at 3:00 PM, long enough to put me to sleep and remove my tonsils. After that experience, I decided they weren"t a fun place to be.

Since I will be working tomorrow, you probably need to take a couple more days off. After all, if we all work at the same time, it will spoil the South"s reputation for being lazy.

(Now if I could just find my greatgranddaddy"s recipe, I could probably cure what ails us. Well, maybe not cure it, but I hear tell that after a few good hits, no pain can be felt!)
