Do you have a double u-joint connecting the engine to the hydrostatic pumps? I was told that if it isn't greased or goes bad it will cause steering problems. Some of the double u-joints can't be greased. The book on mine (Thomas) says to grease every 8 hours but even the dealer said every oil change should be fine. The newer Bobcats have the engine sideways and use a belt drive. There might be an adjuster to center the steering levers. Hope this helps. Dave

The steering is off center, usually requires installing new bushings in the pump levers and spring plate then re-center the levers at neutral. Theres no trick to doing it but it is tricky.
