Has anyone ever heard of a Massy Harris 88 tractor? Somebody asked me and I can"t say I ever heard of one. Someone in Canada was supposed to have one and they thought it came from England. The only 88 I know of is a Oliver. Thanks for any answers.

Thanks for the good info, guys. Somebody said it was a western version. I guess that is right because I heard it was wheatland tractor. So then it was a Massey Ferguson 88.

The Massey Ferguson 88 shares the same parts book
as a 85. The 88 is the western version and does
not have a three point hitch. The 88 weighs about
1200 lbs more depending on how both equipped. The
info from others answers more of the questions.
The tractor was USA built and not Englund. Chuck

There was a MF 88 with Continental 242 gas @ 61 hp or with a Perkins 277 diesel @ 63 hp 1959-62, ser.# on dash panel. MF 98 made 1958-62 with GM 3-71 turbo 3 cyld. diesel @ 84 hp.

Massey Harris made a 81 and a 82 from 1941 to 1946 amd Massey Ferguson made a 88 from 1959 to 1962. Jim
