Has anyone ever heard of this brand space heater? Edenpure.

It is a infrared type. I was wondering if anyone out there has one and do you like it?

Thanks

We bought one to supplement heat in our kitchen which is long way from the LR woodburning stove. The claims may be a bit inflated but nowwhere is one that even the large heater can replace other heat sources...gas, elec, wood.

We have used it long enough to know it does warm our kitchen area. Using wood we do not know if it will reduce our heat bill since we don't have any elec or gas heaters in the house.

We bought the large model, turn it off completely at night but in 20 min or so it is warm enough the wife doesn't complain about the usual morning chillin the kitchen.

Weather in our area rarely gets below 20 deg outside so have no idea if where y'all live if it gets to zero and below the heater will work.

My take is read the claims, explanations, projections, promises etc...then decide whether this one is for you or not. To date it meets our expections and needs but is NOT a whole house heater.

Thanks for the advise. I guess I will stay away from it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Buyer beware!!! I would not believe their claims until Consumer Reports says it is true. I do not think any heater can create energy/heat. Many heaters make wild claims but none can make more energy than they use.

My Mother-In-Law has the bigger size one. She lives in a hundred year old farmhouse here near the tip of lower Mich. She wants to heat the kitchen-dining area of her house (about 275-300 square feet, lot of windows) with it. It will not heat this to a comfortable level by itself. The gas space heater still has to run, though less often. It is typically around 15 to 35 degrees around here about now. Do not know the increase in the elec. bill yet....so not yet sure if it's worth it.

Paul Harvey likes them. Or at least he gets paid big bucks to say so. :)
