Hi fellas,
Recently got moved into a different house and FINALLY now have now about a 50X60" Morton shed with concrete floor. I"m thinking about putting some heat in it, especially now that it"s 2 degrees tonight. I"ve got a big woodburning stove to go in there, but need an economical way of partitioning off part of the shop. Eventually I"d like to wall off a porton and put in a new overhead door, but not financially feasible right now. In the corner that I"d like to heat, two walls already have insulation and plywood on the inside. Any ideas of what to do with the other two walls and celing? Anybody have a curtain on track/rollers to use for containing some heat?
Ideas appreciated!
Thanks
DJL

Just finished up doing this to a 54x60 we put a wall up with a sliding door in the middle and then put tin on the ceiking that we are going to blow insulation on top of. Also got a big wood stove put the flew outside and made it free standing dads idea and it worked great.

I would use same board overhead with Ins. and just hang up a canvas tarp "treated with fire protection" for other wall you can use a sys to slide back in summer . Just put Grommets along one edge & hang on wire .

A canvas on track rollers should do it.Dont use the square track rollers. They give much trouble on doors. The cannon ball round track hangers move much easier.I am getting rid of the square track rollers on my place.

Or use the round track system and build a wooden door - one more place that you can secure or lock things up.

Enjoy the new place.

Not necessarily the best idea, but I used a pair of tarps that I hung from a length of cable running through the eyelets. This seperates my shop when I choose to heat or paint. I just draw them together then clip them in the middle where they meet.

The rope cable is around the top of the post"s, then I used eyebolt and tensioner to draw it tight to prevent sag.
