Currently living in Abilene. Grew up in Corpus Christi then moved with my parents in 1980 to a farm 20 miles northeast of Waco. In 1985 I joined the military, and this is the first time I have been stationed in Texas in the last 21 years. My parents are gone, but we currently still have the land near Waco, and I currently have a wife (was a girlfreind since 93) in Clovis NM.

The wife and I moved to Cedar Park just north of Austin less than a year ago. I'm originally from Minnesota, but had a small ranch up in Idaho panhandle for about 20 years. I sold all my tractors, but still enjoy the forums.

The name says it all.
Not a native, but have been in TX for 34 years. Married a native Texas girl, and she still has..... ..I mean I still have her!
Texas is indeed a state of mind, you either love it or you leave it. The area I'm in certainly has a big draw of the northern folks as our population in the area usually triples in the winter. We welcome the visitors, but honestly we also look forward to spring when most of them migrate back north. They come from many different states each year and it's fun trying to figure out where they are from during a chat. Folks from Minnesota seem to be the easiest to guess and Colorado the most difficult (not much accent). The kindest and friendliest visitors hands down are from Minnesota first and Missouri second. The most rude and arrogant, from Canada....(usually Ontario) first and New Jersy second. No offense, just stating a personal observation.

I am from Muleshoe, TX as you can tell by the name I use. Lived here since 1999, not a native of Texas but they make me pay taxes so I guess that makes me a Texan.

I'm just barely in Texas - Stratford is the northernmost town in the panhandle on hiway 287.

Ken - you might know my uncle - Wayne Fowler - that has worked in the ASCS office in Plainview for years.

My grandparents had ranch near Crosbyton.

Corrigan, that is. Eastern part of the state... Not much interest in old iron around here, people are too hungry to stop working long enough to play with any. Have been told this is a good place to be FROM, but somehow still seem to find lots of good things to do here. Not many things that pay though. Matt.

I grew up in the Piney Woods of East Texas and now live south of Houston in a little town called Needville. Started my own trucking company about a year ago. Tough business, but we're doing ok.

Been hard to find time for my Farmalls lately.
