At least you can work on the cab inside. Send that warm stuff on down as we are ready for some serious melting here and only 17 now after 12 last night.

Hey Allan, I forgot to mention the other day that the places where I got those cab parts has all good glass in two of those cabs and will sell CHEAP! The one cab is quite rusty but amazingly all the glass and rubber mouldings are near perfect. Don't know what a new safety glass costs for those things but it can't be cheap. Migraine Also the door and window hinges are there if needed.

Well, a new glass for the back sliding window on a year-around for a White 2-85 costs around $150!!

Trouble is, it was just a rental too.....

The darn window wouldn't slide shut so I hit the edge with my fist trying to get it to budge. It budged alright.... Into about 1 million peices all over the cab.

HI Guy,

Think I'm good to go now except for ordering a new compressor and all the AC/heater hoses; have an outlet in Iowa for those. That is, unless I get careless and crush a glass, which I really don't want to do. Last one I had made up cost me something like $137 and took two weeks to get here from Rapid City.

I lied to you just a wee bit; the office manager didn't get your reply off until yesterday. :>(
