Hi Gang;
Walked up through the woods to the secret waterfall which runs all year round - I know we have'nt got your ice but I can assure you the water is cold LoL.

Someone asked what the green stuff is on the tree with sheep photo - its ivy growing (all year round).

Cheers David

David, that looks like a scene in the little mountains (Appalachians) of western North Carolina.
The stream water will be syrupy of the cold, but still flows.

Dennis, been down your way a few times, the wife's parents used to live in Fairfield Mtns by the King ranch. I LOVE western NC. Absolutely beautiful area. They still have a time share so we might make it back some time.

Dennis, they lived up on banjo court. Herb and Mary Pahren, you may have met them. I'm pretty sure they had visited because they were hoping to get me down there for a visit as I guess there was a garden railroad layout down there and that is one of my hobbies. They had a great view of the pasture with the white fence and Bald Mountain in the background.

Hi David,

Thanks for all the great photo's you post. Always a welcome site see.

I was watching PBS Tv here and they showed a church, maybe 1000 A.D., with stone walls and no roof. The roof end peaks were at least 60º and still "free" standing. What a site too see. It appeared to be in the area that your located? Sound familiar? The dog barked about the time they said where it was located and all I caught was Wales.
