Does anyone have any comment, good or bad, about the 730 Hi Crops that were maufactured by Deere in Argentina and are now being sold in the US? Are they holding there value as well as the Dubuque and Waterloo Hi Crops? Anyone have an idea as to the value of these tractors? Thanks, Dave

I don't see much interest in them.I've seen a couple in the 20 grand range go unsold. There was one at an auction at portland ind last summer that only brought 9000,but it didn't sell.

One cool feature on at least some of these Argentine tractors is that they were converted from hand clutch to foot clutch. I believe this was a "factory" conversion. The clutch pedal is on the left and both brake pedals on the right. I have no idea how well they work, but in pics it looks well thought out. Anyone have any more insight or experience with these unique clutches and how they work? I've always been surprised no one ever made a conversion kit like that here in the states.

They are holding the value Somewhat but there is alot of them coming in to the US as more people figure out the conection to get them in. On polks and Kings auctions in indiana there has been some and they do ok. I think we will see more of these high crops in the future so unless the collectors want them at the big money the market is going to get flooded.

Same good tractor, same everything except paint and the JD emblem. Real cool and valuable tractor to have

HOWEVER the COST of getting one here will approach $9,000. Not to mention the ones that have been brought up here are PROBABLY the ONLY ones that are in good shape. Unfortunately, most of them are so far worn out that they hardly have compression and gears left. Add that fixup bill...and you've got a tractor that you only MIGHT make a few thousand of profit off of one..

I believe the Argie tractors have hydrostatic power steering like the new Gen. tractors.
