Does anyone know of any reliable tractor carriers that can trasport a tractor from Tenn. to N.J.I am debating to buy a tractor in Tenn. but if it is so much to transport it, it might not be worth my while.I hear alot of horror storys of car/tractors not getting picked up and sitting after the company has your deposit for a while.

There's a guy named rick lee that's haulded for me into that area.He has a nice outfit and is pickey about loading and securing.I don't have his number here at my shop, but he advertises on the hauling schedule of this site.

Start checking with Flatbed companys in TN near where your tractor is and see when they have room on a trailer going east you should get a decent rate going your way .

Well I am a famall man, so if your tractor is a Farmall H or smaller..... the H weighs a little over 4000#.....most good car hawllers have 2-3500# axels, with brakes, thats plenty.....take 4- 3/8" chan4ges and 4- ratchet binders.....

Some body will help you with a carrier..... .
