Does anybody know anything about this product sold by Premium Farm Supplies, Watertown NY. They call their product "Ploymer Base Rust Convertor" You supposedly can use it on rusted metal surfaces to stop rust, it has a rubber base. Your thoughs or experience with this product would be appreciated.

don't know what kind of converter I used but I removed a fifth wheel from a mack frame, rust all under where it was bolted, pitted pretty bad, I wire brushed it, brushed the converter stuff on kinda heavy (it was a black frame sitting in the sun in the summer baking...it was HOT) painted some black rustoluem over that ....been there for 12 years and to top it off I plow snow for the county here in maryland and we use salt all the time...the converter did a good job

Not familiar with this exact product, but my dad has used similar products on rusty body work, with good success. Like said, clean it as good as you can, then apply and the rust will turn black. Greg

I have used the stuff from gemplers, and really like it. I picked up an old king cutter bush hog that was rusted real bad. I clean it up with a wire brush and then coated the whole thing. Next thing was some paint and it has held up for two years now. Another thing I used it on was the tail gate on my ford truck at the bottom were the seam is had bad rust. SO just clean it up add the ploymer and wait for it to turn black.
