On most all major repair items I purchase I do some price checking. on a engine kit for my JD 401 industrial there is almost 300.00 difference between high, and low prices. All parts in the kits are said to be good quality. Is there a lot of mark up in this kind of stuff? I know by experience just because something comes a brand store, and is high priced, Doesn't mean much anymore. Like the water pump I purchased from NAPA and found out it was made Japan. Any thoughts. Stan

I.ve bought parts ever where and i think they all come from out of the country any more??
I bought a 52 dollar oil seal today for one of our tractors made in japan. CNH package for IHC.
Got it at the case ih store.A really well respected buiness man told me one time it depends on what the custmer wants to spend.
Young man can in one time to buy a tractor. How much for the A $1000 not bad but would like to have a little nicer paint.
Ok i have one coming in on trade that was just painted if we get it traded for we will have it in next week ck back. (PAINT R boys) the young man came back 2 weeks later bought it.$1500 if he bought it 2 weeks ago an ask to paint it would been 1050.

Bill
