This is the first plowing I've ever done . This is my beat up old Oliver 1755D . And that's me on top dwarfing it . If it comes through that is . The picture of us in a line was caused by a BIG rock . Gene lost his clevis it snapped so hard . I thought I went around it but I snagged it or a different one and broke the frog on the front bottom . I was ten feet from where Gene caught it . Had a great day out there and I hope this year brings the same ! I was the only Oliver all the others were Deeres . I'm color blind so let's not go there OK ? We all had a good time and that's what counts ...Randy

I got to participate in a plow day with a bunch of garden tractors this fall. It was my first plow day and a lot of fun. Didn't do to good plowing, it must have been the plow, but the camradrie was worth the trip...

grease up those spring toggle trips and make them move before plowing again and you won't be as inclined to break your plow.
spring trips should be able to move by hand, pull back and insert a screwdriver, raise the bottom up by hand. if you can do this then it is working ok and will protect your plow as much as possible.
Good luck
Ron

Hi Ron , I don't know if you'll get back to read this but when I fixed the frog I made sure they all swung easy as per the manual . I moved shims around to take out the lateral play and now I think it works OK but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet . COME ON SPRING ! Have a Happy New Year ! ...Randy

I hear ya there brother, Why waste time arguing about color? If we could find the answer to this problem the world would be a better place. I guess it's just man's nature.
I like anything that is old and rusty, weather it's a tractor a truck or motorcycle, well maybe not motorcycles I'm a little predjudiced there, got to be american made.

Looks like early spring! Keep on posting this stuff , it keeps the juices flowing during these winter (?) months. I can smell the soil just looking at them. Anything GREEN is nice! Either shade.
