My mother has a 1946 Farmall A tractor with a 5'belly mower, wheelweights on the back. It runs but dosn't seem to have any power. My question is how much is this tractor worth?

Well with it not running as it should can/does knock down what its worth. Also how good or bad the tires are either helps or hurts what its worth. The belly mower helps. So lets say it run but not well, the tires are holding air but weather checked and the mower is in fair shape, That would be around a $500-750 tractor. Now if it ran as it should, tires in very good shape and the mower good to very good it could be up around $1500-2000, that also with good sheet metal on it.

Thank-you for your help. Everything on it is in real good shape, also tires are like new. My mother is looking to sell and doesn't want to be cheated.

The value is heavily dependent on the condition of a number of things, the most important being the tires and the sheet metal parts. Your location can also affect the value significantly. Hope this helps, tractorsam

My advice (free) "$2500 OBO". I could be wrong. Wait for a few other posts before leaping in. I wouldn't buy one for myself because of some special considerations so I'm no expert. "OBO" means "or best offer". Who knows? Your best offer at a given time might be $500. You can decide.
