Hello guys and gals, I have an International 240U with a gas burner in it. The main bearings and rod bearings need to be replaced. The crank needs to be ground. So the question is, do I have to split the tractor to pull the crank out or does it weg itself out somehow? Thanks for the input.

Thanks Darin

You'll need to purchase yourself something like a I and T shop manual for it.

Besides the fact you HAVE to remove the engine to get the crank out, you would want to, anyway, to get the block boiled out and the oil galleries thoroughly cleaned, since there was bearing failure.

You will have to split and pull the engine.
