i was looking at the truck above and figure 1200 dont seem bad for that, and i love the old screamin detroits. you tink i should go for it

Hmm. Being that truck, it likely has the fuel pincher (8.2) rather than a 71 or 92 series, but one never knows.... It wouldn't be my pick of the lot, but, if you like it, and it runs good, who am I to say. I'd suspect that that engine would not be so cheap to work on, and if I'm not mistaken it was a naturally aspirated 4 stroke, not the screamer you're looking for. It's a long time since I looked at one. HTH.

I don't think that has a screamin' 2 cycle detroit. My guess is it has an 8.2l, but could be wrong.
