I have a Clay Meter Mill that my dad and I installed in 1969, and now the screen is going to heck and I can't figure it out why, it has only been in since '69! Anyway, it is 6 1/4 in. wide and overall length is 38 in. If anybody knows of a screen laying around with those dimensions or know of anybody making after market parts let me know. The holes in the screen should not be any bigger than 5/16. The one shown is my backup screen but will need an extra one in case that one goes to heck. Thanks

You can look at mcnichols.com , They have the metal that will make a screen for you. Look under perforated metal. I have a catalog for them and it shows to have it in plain steel up to 3/16" thick with 5/16" holes. You can also get it up to 1/4" thick with 1/4" holes. What are you grinding? We used to grind shelled corn with a 3/16" or 1/4"screen on a 16" wide hammermill. Took about 60 H.P. to grind 175-200lbs per minute. Let me know if you need more info. Merry Christmas
