How many of you receive those pre-printed address labels from various places? Anyone here have printing experience to give an idea of how much it costs to print those labels? We receive a bunch almost every week and if all were kept, we couldn"t use them up in 10 lifetimes. Many come from so-called "help organizations", but if they are spending donated money to print all this crap, why would we continue to send them money? I know this isn"t expounding the Christmas spirit, but then these zillion labels aren"t the Christmas spirit either!! If anyone reading this is responsible for sending these labels, please spend donated money on something worthwhile. Most folks still know how to write and a return address doesn"t take that long to write.

There are websites that rank the various "charities" on how much is spent for fundraising/overhead vs how much spent on the people they"re supposedly helping; some very surprising figures, on both good and bad ends.

At the last place I worked people would use them on raffle tickets so they didn't have to write their info down 20 or 30 times

I like getting those pre-printed labels. I usually get them about twice a year from disabled vets, I think.

No complaints from my end, saves me from paying for them!
