Hi everybody! I usually post over on the Ford N-series forum, but Kim suggested I post this announcement here.

I know lots of you are fans of Roger Welsch, so I thought you might want to know that he has put up a personally-autographed copy of his latest book to the first person who will match his $100 donation to our non-profit organization's emergency hay fund. Although it's not a tractor book, "Weed 'Em and Reap" is in his usual humorous style and is totally delightful. It's about collecting and preparing wild plants as food, focusing on plants of the Great Plains.

If you are interested in the book, you can see more and/or order it at the link below (right-hand side of the page at the top once you get there).

I hope everyone has a great holiday! Thanks, Kim, for letting me let people know about the book in case they're interested.

Dawn

Roger is one of my favorite authors, he's probably in the top five as far as number of books by an author that I've read. Is this book availible in left hand print? ;^)

LOL! Naw, but I think it might have a ZZTop CD stuck in the flyleaf. :-)

That's a fantastic idea! Try to find another author who knows about the hay crisis, let alone do something about it! I don't have 100 bucks laying around, but I'm sure it will be a success.

Thanks! :-)

I know how it is. We've been laughing about the fact that WE couldn't afford to buy it, either! But I guess that makes sense -- if we could, we'd buy hay!

Merry Christmas!
