I'm hauling a tractor to colorado. I just thought of something neat. I'd take the tractor off the trailer and drive across the hoover dam for some neat pictures... and I might be the first one to drive a real nice John deere 520 across the hoover dam (or ANY tractor!!!)- depends if i can get across without u.s. marshalls arresting me!

Hey las vegas! Do you ever run between Salt Lake and LV? I have a 130 lb hunk of cast iron I need hauled down there. I'd pay $40 to have it done. It's a rear end casing for an 8N. Axles, differential, etc removed....just empty casing. It would fit in the back of a pickup or under another tractor being hauled on a trailer.
Lemme know.

Hey Jim, the last time I was in Utah that far was about 6 years ago, LOL. I'm real sorry but I never have to run up north anywhere on I-19. I've been busy as well hauling some antique cars in a covered trailer as well, and I doubt i will be able to get anything like that soon. I really hope you can find someone on here, I KNOW theres gotta be someonnnee!!

Personally I'd go up to Page AZ and cross.....Lake Powell is 100 time prettier than Lake Mead.....

I did that a few years ago with a yellow JD 1010U.The parking lot is about the only place you could take pictures.

It's all under construction and not many places to pull over with the trailer. Also no commercial vehicles allowed on the dam if thats what your driving. I love that whole part of the country. So manny never get out of Vegas. The west side of the lake has a big park that you can drive down to the lake. That would be a great photo op too. Your going to have a blast!

i know for a fact that everything around vegas is beautiful, but vegas sure ain"t if you"ve lived there for 16 years!! you get used to it, LOL.

the last time i went through the hoover dam area, it was 4 months ago, and arizona east/west interstate 93?? was being constructed. i remember them setting up piers for a new 4 lane bridge so that you drive across the colorado into nevada!! now if they made a lookout on that bridge, they could make a pretty nice view of the "ol hoover dam!

under construction, finished like in 2008! I have to say it takes me a half hour to get across with a truck and small trailer because you darn tourists gettin" in my way, j/k LOL!!!
