The camera sometimes shows me reality when it is not readily apparent. I drove by this tractor and believed it to be salvagable. Wow.

I think those knobs on the front wheels were used to mount a corn picker snout.

Our local JD dealer had two Farmalls on the lot this fall- one was faded pink like this one is- obviously cheap fleet store paint. He parked it behind the 'redder' one so it was not so visible from the road. The cross flow radiator on yours is a nice touch.

It ain't mine. It is about 10 miles from here. I saw it several years ago and promptly forgot about it. I was under the assumption it was an Oliver 440 based on the fuel tank and the peeking green paint. I am not sure that it is for sale, but if anyone wants to know, I can ask. My book puts it between 200-600 dollars. Likely closer to the 200 side due to the condition. I approached the missus with the idea and she said if another shows up, they both go. I can't afford that. The radiator is quite innovative, and the front tin is missing. The belt pulley is trashed...

However, if it is indeed what everyone says, it might be worth looking into.

Think Glennster is talking himself into it. Hey, Glennster, where'ya at? Throw me an email and I will give you directions to it.

ya know the more i look at this tractor, the more interesting it is, it has the small starting tank, so it was either a kerosene or distillate, it has the flat fuel cap, not the newer style replacement. it does not have a light bar, doesnt look like it ever did hard to tell. also doesnt look like it has a generator, hard to tell, but it has a battery. also the front spindles on the front rims are kind of different looking, the way they stick out so much. not sure but looking at the pto shaft, it either has an extension on it or the adapter to go from the smaller shaft to the newer style. i like it.....i want it..... hmmm gotta figure out what to tell the wife..... road trip..... maybe won it in a drawing..... then...i could swing by allan in neb and buy some more stuff!!!!! !!!!! ! hmmmmm m thats what i want for christmas!!!!! !!!!

I salvaged this one into a good, useable tractor:

That one looks like a good candidate for restoration!

I would but my blood is MF red, IH red gives me the scritchies. Not to mention, I'd flip that thing going down my driveway. If I lived through it, I'd end up with a brand new divorce. Papers and everything...

Still thinkin' about it.

Aaron, if I'm not mistaken, in that first photo I think I am seeing the control cable for the 9 spd overdrive. If I were you, or if I were closer, I'd be draggin' 'er home.

It may not be as bad as I think. It looked a whole lot better at 55 mph. I am not totally sure but I figure the owner would entertain offers. The tractor is located in Northern West Virginia. Heck, I thought it was an Oliver, but now I see the difference. The mains look good. The pink over green paint and the chevette? radiator hurt. The missing front pieces scare me a bit. Not many Farmalls around here for parts. Here is a pick I forgot.

Unless there is something majorily broken on it that the pictures aren't showing, I can't see where she's that far gone. H parts are fairly easy to come by. If you can get her for cheap, jump on it. What's the worse that could happen?
