I think you may have IDed a tractor that sits beside the road near here. It looks to be an Oliver, but this one does not have a grill. The color and gas tank are a spot on match. Does anyone know what other models might have been built with this tank? What years? Going to research 1958 Olivers over in the photo section. Thanks

Let's go Mountaineers,

Aaron

I'm guessing you're refering to what the pother guys determined to be an H a few pages up? The Oliver Super 44 and 440 are an offset model, much like the Farmall Cubs. You'd know right away if it were one of those... I'd really like to have a Super 44 or 440 some day...

The Super 44 and the latter 440 used that tank and both use a F model Continental four cylinder engine.More questions find me on the HPOCA form. J.

That S44 is about 10 miles from the house... sure would be nice to add to my collection but it's way out of my price range!
