OT: Boat Lift Question

I'm claiming Christmas deferral on this OT question: My M&FIL have a place on Lake of the Ozarks they get down to when they can (From Iowa). The have a good-sized (26' I think) open-bow boat on a pontoon lift permanently mounted to their covered dock. I don't know the make of the lift, but think it has 3 "logs", or floats. We'd like to get them a remote control for the lift for a christmas present so my MIL doesn't have to jump on/off the boat from/to the boat anymore. She's still spry enough to embarrass most of us on ski's, but it's only a matter of time before she get's hurt. I know it's likely to be expensive, but they've been great to us. My questions are basic: Are there generic aftermarket remotes for this common air-type lift, or does it have to come from the maker of their particular lift? Does it supplement or replace the manual controls already there? Any reccomendations on makes/models? Thanks fella's, for all the advice and entertainment last year and wish all of you and yours the best always.

Drop me an e-mail and I'll give you a few phone numbers for the local boat lift companys here at the lake. Yep I live close by. Best way I know to do it is to call them since they are the ones with the know how to do what you want and they are cloes enough to even install them for you. But I will warn you that right now they are back logged with works since on the lake they have lost 1000s of boats, docks, and lifts becuase of the ice/snow storm we had the 1st of this month
