Anyone ever used the Black & Decker Simple start, the one where you plug it in the Cigarette lighter? It sure looks small to be able to start a car with a dead battery. My dad wants to get one to keep in the glove box, but he like me not sure if it would start a car with dead battery.
Thanks

I'm with you on that point. I once tried to assist a car with a run-down battery, the guy had cables with 10 gauge wire in it. Wouldn't crank. Ended up leaving the cables connected while I ran my engine to charge his battery for about 15 minutes, then it started. I feel that is the only way one could use the Simple Start.
