White 2-105... good or not?

Have opportunity to purchase a White 2-105 tractor. I"m not well versed on the reliability of this machine, so am looking for input from someone who is. I know the 354-Turbo Perkins engine was very fuel efficient in its day. Heaviest work would be applying anhydrous ammonia. Would it handle a 9 to 11 knife toolbar with a 1,000 gallon tank behind?

hi jdguy, don't know weather or not it will pull the fertilizer injector but if it has enough hp that you need, there were lots of 2-105's around here at one time, and everybody loved them.phill

We always loved ours. Between my uncles we had 3 at one time or another. At one time it was our "big tractor" for field work, then used on loader many years, then on feed wagon. Very fuel efficient, handy tractor.

jd pulling a 9 knife will be a load for it unless you have different soils than most.
