Ebay system message

I got an ebay system message. "members are currently experiencing trouble at checkout" No time given for resolution. I got a 2nd message acknowlging my message, but answering NONE of my questions "is the item paid for?" among others. Very poor service.

If you have dial up Internet service you're going to have problems.Since switching to DSL
ebay messages are quick and can wait until the last few seconds to put in a bid.

Bought a wrench off ebay 3 weeks ago, wrench was delivered before I got messages from ebay. hear google is setting up a auction site like ebay, but im not sure.

I buy and sell on ebay all the time and don't have problems because i DO NOT USE EBAY'S MESSAGE SYSTEM OR THEIR CHECK-OUT !!! i email sellers or buyers and i advertise my email address on my listings---this does result in some spam, but that's better using ebay's check-out---i use a yahoo email account just for my ebay stuff---hth

I have used E-bay and Pal-pal a bunch, and will comtinue to do so. But--they are running behind some times. From the time I entered a bid (which was taken OK) til I received a E-mail of "you are high bidder" was 25 minutes. One time, From time I was over bid til Email of the fact was 45 minutes. An other time, no Email at all, but I still bought the item OK.

I don`t understand you people I buy and sell stuff on ebay all the time and never have all these problems you other guys have. Maybe I am just lucky. I think you guys worry to much if you don`t like e-bay don`t go there!?

I have never sold anything on ebay. I have bought some stuff there before. I have a paypal id and i have used it several times. But i got into a glitch that it didn't finish the checkout - it hung up, no errors given, but no response. Happened on the 8, 9, 10 dec. On Dec 12 I get a ebay system alert letter from ebay that customers were "experiencing problems with checkout". Gee, I would never have guessed. I got a response from ebay, that they knew of the problem, and were working on it. No time given for resolution of the problem, and 4 days after I contacted them about it. No response for 4 days from them. And in the meantime, I got a bunch of spam on "2nd chance offers". I spend a bunch of money on the net, and I can't wait to spend it somewhere else.

I have also bought and sold a lot stuff on ebay and never had any problems that I couldn't easily deal with, but my luck ran out. Your day is coming.

What problems did you have? If you buy something and it is not right there is buyer peotection I my self have used it.

Never had any problems as a buyer or as a seller. I always recieved what I bought, and my customers always recieved exactly what they bought. Nope, the problem is with greedy ebay. they have a tendency to hide from view items that are listed, and then want you to relist, for another fee of course, and they will also accuse you of shill bidding just because someone else using the same internet provider is bidding on your items. Buyers and sellers are basically honest, or at least would be if ebay would let them.

Meg & Pierre just got too greedy! It used to be good place to get rid of stuffs! Still the best, of course, but not as good as it once was! Sooner or later, somebody is gonna set up somthing that will EAT THEIR LUNCH!! But those days aren't here yet. Google "anti-ebay sites" 4 more info! I sold many things on it, and had much good luck.
