When rearanging my toys to make room for more I got the wheel of my Yoders Plastic MTA stuck in the sliding glass door.

I didn't see it and kept pushing and broke my axle.

Boy that makes me mad. (:~{)

Anyone got any superglue to fix it.

Gary

Gary:

I had a similar repair a while back. got a 2 part plastic glue at Paul's that worked great. kind of a special epoxy for plastic.

Dang, I thought you were serious. I was wondering how you did that as I have never heard of anyone shearing an axle before. Must 'ave been a hard pull... That Torque Amplifier must really work!

Let's go Mountaineers,

Aaron

Aaron, I sheared an axle on a JD 4430 high crop about 15 years ago. Not fun, the wheel did not fall off but the tire (20.8 X 38) was full of water, wheel weights, and very heavy to deal with. We replaced the axle in 4 hours in the field with no problems. We did have the help of a cane loader to help move the tire.

I would drill a small hole in the center of both pieces and use a toothpick or something along with the glue. When they were small, my kids use to break their plastic cars all the time. Now they just break the real ones and glue doesn't work so well.

I believe Weldon Yoder passed away a year or so ago, but the family may still be in business. I've heard that they will fix broken toys if they built them. Might be worth a try. I don't have an address for them...maybe they have a website?

Heh Stan how you been,

Havn't heard from you for awhile.

Are you looking after my mother down there in florida.

Didn't know you could still get parts from Yoders.I hadn't heard anything of them for quite a while.

Maybe I can get an axle from them.

Thanks Gary

Blackhole49 may have the best idea if you can't get hold of Yoder's any more.

You've got me confused. We must know each other, but you're going to have to help my memory, ok?

We visited over on Memoribilia about a year ago.

If I remember correct you moved to Florida from Ia.

And you enjoy toy tractors also.
