Anyone used Google this morning? Instead of the usual Google logo on the page, I'm getting a picture of a halloween alien lookin thing. Kinda half afraid to do the search. And yes, I've had my coffee!!

That's Cool! If they have been hacked, the hacker had good taste in art. That's a classic.

Let's go Mountaineers,

I never see those images since I use the Google Personalized Home
page that you can modify to show news, weather, time etc.

Whenever Google does those highlights, which they often do on holidays, you can click on the highlight and they will take you to sites telling what the meaning is.
I want to take the opportunity to let Kim know how I appreciate this forum she works so hard to run in a friendly and informative manner. Thanks Kim!

So apparently Google hasn't been hi-jacked, and it is safe to use? This is the first time I have ever seen anything like it.

That picture is a photograph of Edvard Munch's painting, "The Scream". There is a good book (worthwhile, thought-provoking) by Ravi Zacharias called Deliver Us From Evil that uses this painting on the cover - talks about the emptyness of materialism.

Its been a while since I read it...maybe ought to again.

"Happy Birthday, Edvard Munch!"
