Though I have mostly green tractors I do have a Ford Jubilee I bought about 3 years ago to bush hog with. The person I bought it from said it was a 1954, but I finally checked the serial # this week (which is on the front left side of the engine, not the bell housing) and it is NAA02124. I take that to mean it is actually one of the first built in 1952. Am I right?

If you look at the serial number table on this site, you'll see that the first s/n to leave the factory in 1953 was 2380, so yes, your Jubilee was built in late 1952, but it's still considered a 1953 Golden Jubilee. You may find some date codes on the rear axles or other parts that would help confirm the 1952 build date.

I have s/n NAA00929 sitting at my house right now, until I either part it out or sell it. I haven't decide which direction I'm going yet.

While there may have been some year model overlap 1953 was the Jubilee year, it's still considered an NAA just as the '54 model, visually the only difference I know of is the emblem up front above the grill. The Jubilee will have Golden Jubilee 1903-1953 or something to that effect. 1954 NAA had a corn stalk in the center (Jubilee did too) and stars around the outside ring, the Jubilee had the writing in place of the stars.

You've got it right. With a serial # of 02124 that should definitely be a 1953 (built in 1952). Those hood emblems, especially the '53, are rare but they are available and go for about $50.
