At what time did McCormick Deering become just McCormick? I have a 1948 W-6 with the McCormick-Deering badge on the grill. I have read somewhere that after 1946 or 47 they just used McCormick. The tractor was repainted before I bought it, and the stickers they used just say McCormick. Really curious because right now nothing is matching. Thanks, Charles

After looking in my book "150 Years of International Harvester" I have concluded that the tractors carried the McCormick Deering tag till 1953.

When the supers came out in 1954 they dropped the Deering.

But this is not real clear.

Thanks Gary, When I looked up My Farmall B, it said the last year was 1946 for the Deering on the sticker. My 1948 W-6 still has it on the grill leading me to believe I need to find some stickers with the McCormick-Deering name on it. Thanks again,
Charles
