The patient: '92 Dodge Caravan, 3.3L V6, auto OD
The symptoms: no spark

We've replaced the spark plugs, the crank sensor, the cam sensor and tried 2 other good coil packs. Still no spark.

All fuses are good.

What else do I check? I thought it might be the Auto Shutdown Relay, but I don't know of a test procedure for this part?

Opinions and suggestions are welcome.

Thank you for your time,
Anthony

I can"t remember if the 3.3 has a timming belt. Ck the timing belt by pulling off the oil fill cap and see if the cam/valves are working(Dist. runs off the cam) or using a pry bar and prying the timing cover back and see if the timing belt is turning as some one does the cranking. As for your shut down relay try switching to another relay like your A/C relay and try that or go get one from the auto parts store (cheap) or from another dodge around that year. all dodges use the same relay

It's comming back to me, It's been a while since I worked for Dogde and I mostly did the trucks/cummins. I think under the battery is the main wire harnes/fuseable links. Battery acid eats the wires and fuseably links. use a test light at your dist./coil packs and work your way back. perform a visual inspection of all wiring as in your crank, cam, ect sensors back to your fuse box and relays. It sounds like an easy fix for somebody like me and it could be for you also if you take your time! Email me if you have any more ? and I'll give you my phone#
