Hi Gang;
This small M-M is part of Henry's collection. Not a model ever imported into UK, so cant tell you anything about it.
Can anyone identify it and tell us what it is.
Cheers David

looks to me like a jetstar or a bigmo 400. the grill emblem is the same as a jetstar not a 445. the front axle is turned around from its normal position. MM sold these tractors to military specs and they probably specified a gas tank capacity that was greater than the stock. They also wanted to keep it cheap so it had a barrel tank and no torque or extras. probably has an external side oil filter and a tall distributor base. I can also see it has the large hubs on the rear like a jetstar 3 industrial or a bigmo.

I was in the Air Force for twenty years it was very common for US tractors to be shipped overseas. This was most likely propane originally but when shipped to the UK gasoline was probably the wiswer choice. USAF did concern themselves with original looks when they converted things. Looks to be a 445 to me, serial tag should say the model number.

My guess is a 335 or 445 utility. Not enough of a Moline expert to know for sure. The fuel tank is definitely unusual though. I believe there are some numbers on the torque tube,lower right side that if you had them you could probably trace it out though. Thanks for sharing and God Bless.PS:Still praying for both you and your wife.

Nice picture Dave, Several ex USAF Oliver 88s are in preservation here in the UK. They were fitted with large magnets underneath them for picking up nails etc from the runways. As you maybee know Dave that Sonny Smith from Shrewsbury has one. MJ
