Hi, I also operate one of thoes D10N with a Rockland blade. Think it's about 22 ft. x 9ft high, ruoghly push 50 ton of clean coal to load out feeders. Where I'm at also have a D10R with finger tip steer an shift, with computer controls on seat gripper. It has a cat blade thats wider than Rockland blade. I'm at Willow Lake Mine in southern Il.

You know i have heard guys talk about the deere being hard on fuel.
this tractor is'nt mine it belong to the company i work for.
you know the bigger machine is easy to run than the small ones they are smoother .
if ever you get a chance run one of the big ones.
we got a new dozer that has no sticks it's elec shift. elec steer. electronic fuel. now it's really smooth/quicker.
have a good"n" Bill

These ole machine are tough with out a doubt
I've seen the temp gauge in danger for hours in 100 degree weather.
Some times they run continuous till they just plum give out.
they'll gather up parts and bring them back to life.
WE stoll barrowed one one night from a contractor working neighbor to us (cause) we needed a extra dozer! one of ours fell??

Looks like it gets used.

The blades all shined up.

If I had the use of that thing for a year I could level the whole section.
